E-Books and Audio-Books!
Students and staff are able to access eBooks and audiobooks from our Dallas ISD Library Catalog or from SORA.
SORA
Click on the image to access Sora on a computer.
SORA can be accessed on iPhones, iPads, and Android devices using the SORA app, or it can be accessed on a desktop computer, a laptop, or a Chromebook by going to the SORA web page.
SORA on iPhone, iPad and Android devices:
Download the SORA app for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
Setup code: DallasTX
Student sign in: Student ID number
Password: Last 4 digits of student ID number
Example: if your student ID is 1357924, then your username is 1357924 (all 7 digits) and your password is 7924 (last 4 digits)
Staff sign in: 10 + ID number
Password: Last 4 digits of ID number

To read or listen to books on your computer, click on this link: SORA on a computer. or scan this QR code:
If you are asked for a setup code, click on "I have a setup code." Enter the code, DallasTX.
Enter your sign in and password (see above).
The Junkins Library Catalog
To access the Junkins library catalog, go to library.dallasisd.org
or click on the Library Catalog icon below or in Clever:

From the Dallas ISD Library Catalog main screen, click on the LS2 icon to search for ebooks and audiobooks:
This brings you to the Junkins Library search screen:
Use the SEARCH bar to search for titles or authors.
Only items marked "eBook" or "eAudiobook" can be downloaded onto devices.
You will be asked to log in with either your Library Card Number or EZ Login.
Students: username is your student ID number, password is the last four digits of your student ID number.
Staff: Username is your staff ID number, use a leading 10 or 100 to make 7 digits if necessary, password is the last four digits of your staff ID number.

Online Resources and Websites
DallasISD provides free access to various online resources.
Click on the link above for access to resources such as World Book, Britannica, Dallas Newspaper in Education, Learn360, and more! Most databases accessed within the district network do not require a username/password. When accessing from home you will be directed to a login screen.
Students: username is your student ID #, password is the last four digits of your student ID#.
Staff: Username is your staff ID #, use a leading 10 or 100 to make 7 digits if necessary, password is the last four digits of your staff ID # as the password for access.
